Rotten Week
This past week was a bummer. Not only was I scammed and had to take care of all that, my son’s bike was stolen out of our garage, there is a leak in the garage roof and it’s been raining like crazy, and the hot water heater quit working. Murphy’s whole family seems to have moved back into my house.
The roof leak is pretty bad and I’ve got to get someone out here pretty fast to fix it. Right now, every time it rains I have a 10 gallon puddle to clean up with the shop vac. We also seem to be breeding our own batches of mosquitos, so that’s got to be fixed before anything else.
My son located his bike down the street today and brought it back home. It’s damaged and I don’t know how much if anything it’s going to cost to repair. I have to call the police and update the police report. This isn’t the first time these particular neighborhood thugs have taken something that belongs to us, so this time I’m asking for all the law allows. If they can arrest the boy(s) where my son found his bike, that’s what I’ll have them do. If it costs me very much to have the bike repaired, I’m suing the parents for the cost plus legal expenses.
The hot water heater problem is mainly a headache. I have to replace the heat sensor coil for the pilot light. Right now, if you need hot water, you have to light the water heater manually. I have a sensor coil in my tool box. I always keep one on hand because this problem seems to happen on weekend nights, holidays, or when I don’t have time to fool with it. I started being a good scout in this area and I’m always prepared to replace that coil. That’s what I’m planning to do next.
All of my earning efforts suffered this week from all these distractions. I’ve got to get all this stuff dealt with so I can get back to work. I haven’t even printed and mailed invoices for my business this month and I always send those out by the 20th. If I don’t invoice I don’t tend to get paid.

Hi,
I commend you for the way you’re going about clearing your debts while showing others the way you’re doing it.
I hope this blog really picks up for you.
I have noticed you’re using adsense to monetise your site, and to be honest, you need to re-edit your page.
on the left, just above your ‘donate’ button, you have a small adsense block. Above that you’re asking visitors to click to help you pay your debts.
google will CLOSE your account if they have it reported to them, or worse, see it themselves.
Don’t think they do NOT manually check sites, they do.
All you need do is re-position the text so that it CLEARLY relates to the donate button.
At present it looks like you’re inviting people to click your Google Ads.
As I say, Good luck with your efforts, I started a similar campaign last year myself at;
http://alternative-debt-solutions.com
It may or may not be of some use, but feel free to heck it out anyway.
Cheers, Pete.

Hi Pete!
Thanks for the tip. I moved my Adsense ad to the top of my blog, and I changed the text on top of the paypal button so it clearly says it’s a donation.
I will check out your site later this evening. I have an outside-the-house job this afternoon to attend to.
